This includes data relating to the audience, for instance, location information if it is available, how we acquire users and the behaviour of our users once they’re on the website. This information is processed in such a way that individuals cannot be identified. Google Analytics does not make any attempt to identify the users of our website. If we do collect information we will be clear about this from the beginning and will clearly state what we intend to do with this information.
In order to identify new prospects for our company, we use a service called Lead Forensics. On visiting our website, your ip address will be captured and used to lookup basic information on your company from a national isp database. We do not control this database and will only use the information to identify your company. We will not store or distribute this information to any third party companies. When a website visitor uses the ‘Contact us’ page, we ask for a name and email address along with a short message. This information is then sent to ‘email@example.com’, where it is forwarded to the relevant team member. We will follow up with you directly regarding your query but will not add your details to a database in the first instance. We will only add your details to a database if, for instance, you place an order with us. This information will not be shared with a third party and will only be kept while we are trading with you as a supplier or client.
If you contact us through any of our social media channels your information will not be recorded on our system. We use a social media management system called Hootsuite to manage and communicate via the Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts of ourselves and clients. We use an e-mail marketing platform called Mailchimp to send out emails to a marketing database for both ourselves and clients. All users have given their consent to be included on the database via Mailchimp’s double-opt-in process and have the right to unsubscribe and request the deletion of their data at any time. You are entitled to request to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold at any time. To do so, please email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org
We will respond and provide any requested information free of charge within one month, except in the event that the request is unfounded, excessive or repetitive, in which case we reserve the right to charge a proportionate administration fee or refuse the request.
Please note that requesting deletion is total and irreversible. This means that we will also lose record of you having ever been on our systems. This does not affect your other rights in any way.
