think: the challenge

To fuel their growth and increase loyalty, the team needed a compelling, engaging and innovative marketing programme which promoted cricket to the Derbyshire community. That is why Three Sixty Media have been working alongside Derbyshire County Cricket Club for a number of years on their membership campaigns.

Each season our aim is to drive fan engagement and to increase attendance numbers for all age ranges. We work to achieve these goals by creating a dynamic, inspiring message which builds upon their ‘Proud to be Derbyshire’ ethos.

create: our approach

Year on year we work closely with the club to fulfil all of their marketing material requirements for the upcoming season. We have produced a range of print collateral for both the longer and Twenty20 game formats, including ticketing and membership brochures, ground maps, fixture cards, membership cards, and direct mailers. During our most recent campaign, titled ‘Together, We are Derbyshire’, we emphasised the pride that their audiences feel whilst supporting – and feeling a part of – their local team.

The new logo launches ‘Cricket Derbyshire’ which reflects our unified determination to support cricket all the way from playground to test ground. It sends a strong signal that the Board’s recreational focus and the Club’s professional ambitions are closely aligned.

deliver: the result

In recent years Derbyshire County Cricket Club has developed its offering into far more than cricket. Now a recognised 365-day-a-year venue, the club has hosted major concerts with over 15,000 attendees, as well as seen record T20 attendances and growth in Membership revenue by 12% year on year.

Due to their continued growth, we have also delivered a logo refresh for the club which was designed to improve legibility.
